Founded in 2008, Shoppinghour Magazine is a London-based publication that has as its aim the reconstruction of a culture mired in the nihilist vestiges of postmodernity. Through an empowerment of the interdisciplinary potentialities between various forms of contemporary arts expression and theory, the ambition is to help resuscitate the spirit of a society in dire need of critique. Working closely with the magazine’s designers to avoid creating yet another consumer commodity, Shoppinghour is a gift to those who share the critical reconstructive drive of the New Educators.

A H O J is a project to share experiences and visual characteristics of our expeditions to the metropolises of the world. We collect and analyse different material and work experimentally with shapes, colours and typefaces to learn about the visual language of different metropolises. This project is part of the bachelor thesis by Roman Ruster and Michael Taschinski.
Boneshaker Magazine is a celebration of cycling and the people who do it. Full of articles, personal stories and anecdotes about people and projects doing great things with bicycles around the globe.
It is our hope that the magazine will both inspire and entertain, raise awareness and bring a smile
to your face.
Appealing to both bike-heads and those who may not yet have experienced the true joy and freedom that can be found from our two-wheeled friends.
we’d like to introduce this nice graphic design zine, a lovely concept meets some really exciting results:
1/2 is a project of artistic exchange between four french graphic designers/illustrators, who live in four european capitals.
1/2 is an online space to share and discuss each others work. 1/2 is a biannual original self-published hand-made zine. 1/2 is around the corner
.
1/2 is Laure Boer, Anne-Pauline Mabire, Lucie Pindat and Chloé Thomas. 1/2 lives in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Rennes and Vienna. 1/2 is anywhere anyway.
Catalogue Library is an independent publishing platform for artists and designers started by Catalogue.
The project embodies the idea that zines should be a quick representation of a subject or idea. This ethos is carried through into the production of our zines, printed with basic materials and made by hand.

Some photographs are more important than others. Preserved memories of people you love and friends you have lost, places that shaped your understanding of the world and events that had a significant impact on your life. romka magazine is devoted to this one print that you keep in your wallet, on the desk at work or on your fridge door. Pictures of great sentimental value that gain their quality through the personal experiences they are connected to and not through form or content. It is not about your best pictures, but about your personal favorites.
line – a journal interviews founder of self publish, be happy – bruno ceshel. he talks about founding the event, how it growed, the rediscovering of print media, the future of self-publishing and next plans for sp/bh.
